Be Collaborative
Being collaborative requires project managers to communicate and share with peer organizations, stakeholders, and related government agencies. In the development world, everyone is working toward bettering the global condition, so collaborating with other interested parties helps to further and inform projects. Collaboration overlaps with using open standards, reusing and improving, and understanding the environment. Using open data and research makes open collaboration seamless. In order to collaborate effectively, toolkit users must plan collaboration from the beginning, taking into account what stakeholders and organizations already exist in the realm and assessing the reusable progress already made.
